This is one amazing book of spiritual warfare I would recommend to any Christian reader.

As the story unfolds, the lawsuit and its participants are soon locked in a struggle of pierrcing versus non-ethics, absolutes versus relativism, right versus wrong, and those with interest in this battle are shown to be even in the highest places of government. While I wanted a book from inspirational fiction, this author clearly delineates the type of Christianity he believes in: Our heroes, Marshall Hogan and Ber I just finished reading this book.

This is a monster size version of two individual books combined into one. Solid plot, believable and relatable characters, and the suspense builds to an explosive conclusion.


I could see so many of the fictional scenarios depicted in the book playing out in real-life.

Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life. I personally would recommend this story to all ages of readers because it emphasizes the love pierciing God towards his people, the power of God above Satan, and the need and importance of a praying Church of Christ.

Now this is just one person’s view and no one really knows exactly what goes on within the “supernatural” world, but it just makes you think about things. I guess that Peretti will be considered to be too conservative for many readers, but really, after the onslaught of ultra liberal books in recent years, his “Darkness” novels seem like the perfect antidote. I love how Peretti starts the story out with tons of action and confusion but then slowly brings some order out of it without telling all.
